Dinneen: Ethanol fights climate change with or without Paris Accord

Renewable Fuels Association CEO Bob Dinneen says the US can lead the world on clean energy development and carbon reduction whether or not it’s part of the Paris Accord. President Trump announced Thursday that the U.S. will pull out of the climate change agreement. In an email, Dinneen told Brownfield policies like the Renewable Fuel Standard have mobilized the marketplace to invest in clean energy to lower greenhouse emissions from transportation.
