A south-central Minnesota farmer says he had to rotary hoe some of his corn to get it out of the ground.
Joe Sullivan grows corn and soybeans with his two brothers and father in Renville County.
He tells Brownfield rain and cool weather extended the planting season to nearly eight weeks.
“We got in fairly early on some of the corn (by) a day or two. And that stuff we wound up having to rotary hoe to get it to come out of the ground.
