Midday cash livestock markets

The Fed cattle Exchange (FEC) internet auction had listings of 2,067 cattle on Wednesday, with 1257 head sold. 618 head with a 1 to 9 day delivery had a weighted average price of 132.24. Last week cattle with the same delivery period brought 132.54. Cattle with a 1 to 17 day delivery brought 132.06, and 17 to 30 days 128.30. DTN is reporting they have picked up a few Southern asking prices on cattle around 134.00 to 136.00.
