Governor Rick Snyder has made new appointments to the Michigan Wheat Promotion Committee.
The board is are made up of nine wheat farmers and is subject to the advice of the Senate. Appointees will serve three year terms on the committee.
Newly appointed is Marc Hasenick of Springport who is part owner of his family farm Hasenick Brothers.
Reappointments include Sally McConnachie of Deckerville who manages Dave’s Dirt as well as farms 1,000 acres, and David Milligan of Cass City, owner of Milligan Farms which farms 4,100 acres of cash crops.
