An extension educator says Minnesota farmers are sticking their toes in the water as new weed control technologies enter the commercial market.
Dave Nicolai with the University of Minnesota tells Brownfield there’s plenty of interest in the latest glyphosate, 2,4-D and dicamba-tolerant products.
“It’s really variable. We have some areas I travel where there’s not many acres, and some situations where there’s probably 30 to 40 percent. There’s no guarantee the grower would actually use some of the products yet.
