Senate Ag Chair Pat Roberts says the administration has indicated it plans to work quickly to put new bilateral trade agreements in place.
Roberts told attendees of the US Meat Export Federation’s spring conference US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer has said finalizing trade deals is a priority. “He actually said in one sentence, ‘it is time to work hard on bilateral trade deals that the President wants and a good place to start is with the TPP countries’,” he says.
