A Minnesota legislator is confident the special session will adjourn within the next two days.
Representative Jeanne Poppe of Austin says when lawmakers reconvene this afternoon, the plan is to suspend certain legislative rules so remaining bills can be processed faster.
“I think that is part of the agreement (between caucus leaders and the governor) that we help them suspend the rules (and) they bring up the bills. We have some discussion on them, we vote, and then can finish things up.”
The Health and Human Services bill, State Finance, Pension, and Bonding bills need to be finalized.
