Embracing a global marketplace for dairy

A dairy economist says understanding the trends and demands of other countries helps American farmers feed a growing world population.

Phil Plourd is president of Blimling and Associates, a dairy consulting firm based in Wisconsin.

He tells Brownfield the significance of exports and their impact on agriculture can not be overstated.
