U.S. egg exports in the first quarter of 2017 are up nearly 30 percent compared to a year ago.
American Egg Board (AEB) senior director of marketing communications Ashley Richardson says they’re working with the U.S.A. Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) to grow demand overseas, and the results are encouraging.
“That means (egg exports) climbed to 59 million dozen, and that’s table eggs as well as processed egg products.
