Two agribusinesses are among six Minnesota companies honored with the 2016 Governor’s International Trade Award.

Great Plains Processing of Luverne, and Ralco Nutrition of Marshall were chosen for developing and growing a significant part of their business from exports.

The Minnesota Trade Office also looks at the workforce supported by international sales, and for developing novel approaches for competing globally during the selection process.

Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Shawntera Hardy calls the six winners models that can inspire other businesses in the state to pursue international trade.
