Quick fix would allow for access to higher ethanol blends

The CEO of Growth Energy says momentum is building in Congress for a simple fix that would allow for greater access to higher blends of ethanol.
Emily Skor tells Brownfield there’s bipartisan support for the Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act, which adds two words to the Clean Air Act of 1990.
“What these two words do is clarify that when Congress set the law, they never intended to limit fuel blended with ethanol to a 10 percent level.”
She says the bill would essentially do away with Reid vapor pressure regulations that limit the use of fuels blended with 15 percent and higher amounts of ethanol during certain times of the year.
