This spring, farm workers in the Lake Region saw hourly wages improve more than a dollar per hour compared to a year ago.
In its latest Farm Labor report, the USDA says operators in Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin paid their hired help an average wage rate of $13.35 per hour, up $1.04 cents from April 2016.
During the reference week of April 9th through the 15th, there were 46,000 workers hired, 10,000 more than the last reference period in mid-January.
