The National Corn Growers Association is providing farmers talking points at their fingertips with a new advocacy app.
Marketing Manager Steve Uram tells Brownfield the organization’s action app helps farmers find their legislators and provides instant access to key legislative and regulatory issues. “We want to make sure that folks can contact their legislators, their state and federal, and if they don’t know who he or she might be, they can scroll to their state and find it.”
Uram says talking points and social media tools can help farmers strengthen their conversations at the grassroots level and better engage on issues important to them.
