A grant from the USDA has helped increase access to higher blends of ethanol in Ohio. The $3.4 million provided the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Ohio Corn Marketing Program funding to help install nearly 200 blender pumps throughout the state.
Tadd Nicholson, executive director of the Ohio Corn Marketing Program says there a nearly one million flex-fuel vehicles on the road and the pumps provide drivers access to higher blends of ethanol.
