A southwest Minnesota farmer says he’s halfway through soybean planting while many others in the state are just beginning to plant corn.
Bob Worth of Lake Benton grows both crops as well as some spring wheat, and tells Brownfield each year is unique.
“Last spring we were all done (planting) by May 8th, and now a lot of people are just getting started on planting corn. We were just very fortunate we could go when we could.
