An east-central Missouri cattle producer says a lot of his neighbors have been harmed by the intense rain and flooding this week. Charlie Gerloff tells Brownfield Ag News he’s not had any cattle losses but quite a few farms are suffering, along the Gasconade River and further south near the towns of Rolla and Bland, Missouri. He says, “I had one place that might have had 15 inches (of rain). Another guy I talked to who buys bulls from us said he had fence out for two miles on the Gasconade.
