It is a typical Tuesday in cattle country with bids and asking prices not well defined, although a few have suggested some steers and heifers in the South will start out being priced around 140.00 to 142.00. Beef cutouts exploded on Monday with box movement described as “moderate to good.” At 226.47, the choice product closed at its highest level since mid-June of 2016.
Boxed beef cutout values are sharply higher again on Tuesday.
