The executive director of the Michigan Corn Growers Association says they’re pleased the Trump Administration is listening to the new Secretary of Agriculture on trade issues.
Jim Zook tells Brownfield Secretary Sonny Perdue has stepped up to bat to protect agriculture after the President threatened an executive order to withdraw from NAFTA. “Fortunately our new secretary of ag was in place and in position and he was heard. He expressed how important trade is, and especially the NAFTA agreement is, to all of our farmers.”
