A southern Indiana farmer says planting has gone well so far this spring and his corn has started to emerge.
David Gottbrath says they’ve had just the right amount of moisture so far. “I guess we’re about half or a little over 50 percent done with corn,” he says. “We’ve planted some soybeans too – but I haven’t seen any soybeans coming up yet.”
He tells Brownfield they’re going to try and beat the weather that’s forecast through the weekend.
