The average prices Minnesota farmers receive for corn and soybeans are improving.
The USDA says during the month, the price received for corn averaged $3.31 per bushel.
That’s six cents above February, and seven cents higher than March 2016.
Soybean prices improved two cents from February to March, and were up $1.40 compared to the same period a year ago at $9.56 per bushel.
The March 2017 spring wheat price was $4.78 per bushel, down seven cents from February, but up 29 cents on the year.
