The USDA reports that as of the week ending April 20th, 2017, corn and soybean inspections remain ahead of what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 612,536 tons, down 72,778 from the week ending April 13th, but up 178,558 from the week ending April 21st, 2016. With less than a month and a half left in the 2016/17 marketing year, wheat inspections are 23,791,641 tons, compared to 18,048,010 late in 2015/16.
