Demand and livestock profitability

A livestock market analyst says strong demand continues to play a big role in price support for America’s livestock producers.
University of Missouri’s Scott Brown says a lot of that demand is centered on countries in Asia. Brown says when it comes to beef – should China lift the ban on US beef that has been in place since 2003 – it could be a game changer for the US beef sector. He says global and domestic demand are key for livestock producers.
