A few scattered asking prices on the cattle are being reported on Wednesday at 130.00 to 131.00 in the South but so far no bids have been reported in any region. The Fed Cattle Exchange Internet Auction on Wednesday had listings of 4,446 head with only 701 head sold at an average price of 128.62. Last week only 110 head sold at 126.00. In the past the auction has been known to get the cash market started, but not for the last several weeks.
