Eight of the nearly 75 Wisconsin dairy producers displaced by cuts at Grassland Dairy have a new buyer for their milk. Bill Mullins from Mullins Cheese in Mosinee and Marshfield tells Brownfield they plan to take the extra milk even though they already operate near capacity. “We always have farms that are switching around or selling cows, or some go out of business and things like that, so I guess we’re kind of like betting on the future a little bit more for taking on some great quality farms.
