Missouri had about four-and-a-half days fit for field work this past week with the state averaging about a third of an inch of rain. Topsoil moisture is 86 percent adequate to surplus. Corn planting is 17 percent done, 36 percentage points behind last year and 8 percentage points behind normal. Cotton planting is 5 percent done. Rice planting is 36 percent done. Almost a quarter of the winter wheat crop is headed and 66 percent good to excellent.
