The USDA reports combined old and new crop wheat export sales for the week ending April 6th were above most pre-report estimates, while soybeans and products were generally within anticipated ranges and corn sales were below expectations. Physical shipments of soybeans were above what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 421,600 tons (15.5 million bushels), down 26% from the week ending March 30th and 2% lower than the four week average.
