Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly brought his Donnelly Days to Purdue’s new Indiana Corn and Soybean Innovation Center to learn about ag technology and research.
He says research plays an integral role in helping farmers increase productivity and efficiency. “I was down in Knox County, near Vincennes the other day where we went through a whole cover crop demonstration,” he says. “To keep nutrients in the ground and to increase yields and combine those kind of things – those stewardship policies and their used by all farmers across the state.
