The USDA reports corn and soybean export inspections for the week ending April 6th were above what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 641,365 tons, up 68,418 from the week ending March 30th and 300,473 higher than the week ending April 7th, 2016. For the 2016/17 marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 22,475,910 tons, compared to 17,155,567 in 2015/16.
Corn was reported at 1,170,380 tons, 317,550 less than the previous week, but 48,286 more than this time last year.
