A west-central Minnesota farmer has begun planting spring wheat.
Krist Wollum of Porter says there’s been an abundant amount of moisture since last fall, and he hopes to take advantage of it.
“On the fields where we had harvested the corn stalks for bedding for our livestock, and there’s a fair amount of tile on this ground. So the ground worked up very nice, and it looks like it’s going to be planted really nice.
