University of Minnesota launches Land-Grant Legacy scholarship

The University of Minnesota has launched a new scholarship aimed at attracting and retaining more students from Greater Minnesota.
Brian Buhr, Dean of the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) on the Twin Cities campus, says the Land-Grant Legacy Scholarship harkens back to the inception of Land Grant Universities in 1862.
“And what we’re looking at is this idea that we want to maintain and assure, consistent with that, our accessibility and availability to all students.
