An agronomist reminds farmers it’s still early in the planting season and it’s too early to rush.

Matt Montgomery, agronomist with Illinois-based Burrus Seed says  a lot of farmers are thinking “oh my gosh, it’s April – we should be in the field now.  He says farmers need to take a breath and remember there is a lot of calendar left.  “The window is wide,” Montgomery says.  “We have to remind ourselves of that every year.
