Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has signed legislation that delays enforcement of ditch mowing permits along state and federal highways.
State Cattlemen’s Association president Krist Wollum, a producer from Porter, says a one year moratorium on the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) allows more time to get the law right.
“What we’re hoping to come with is the availability of the people that are using this grass for feed, to be able to take it at a time when the feed has value for them.
