Soybeans were narrowly mixed, mostly lower, adjusting old crop/new crop spreads. The trade expects a bigger production estimate for Brazil in next week’s supply and demand report. Forecasts do have more heavy rain in parts of southern Brazil and Argentina, delaying harvest activity and potentially lowering yield. Soybean meal was lower and bean oil was higher on the adjustment of product spreads. The USDA’s attaché in Pakistan expects 2017/18 soybean imports to be a record 2.2 million tons.
