Ag policy and ag finance bills are headed to conference committees following an Easter Break for the Minnesota Legislature.
State Representative Jeanne Poppe says versions passed in the House should be similar to legislation advanced by the Senate.
“I think on the Ag Policy Bill it’s probably fairly close, and they wouldn’t have a lot of differences between the two. And in the Ag Finance (Bill), I know that we have a really strong bill.”
Poppe suggests the Legislature is on pace, but says there’s mounting uncertainty about what bills Governor Dayton will sign into law.
