So far on Thursday there are just a few bids on cattle in Nebraska at 122.00 live and 200.00 dressed. Asking prices are around 128.00 to 130.00 in the South and 205.00 plus in the North. The determination of feedlot operators to pass lower packer bids in the face of board premiums and struggling beef cutouts seems to speak highly of country confidence and the ongoing reality of tight fed supplies.
Boxed beef cutout values are mixed in the morning report.
