If feedlot operators were waiting for price direction from the Fed Cattle Exchange Internet Auction on Wednesday they are probably disappointed by the outcome of the sale. 3,572 head were listed but no cattle were sold on the auction. There are just a few bids on cattle in Kansas at 124.00. Current asking prices are around 130.00 in the South and 210.00 in the North. It may be Thursday or Friday before significant trade develops.
