Weekly crop progress reports have resumed and Indiana’s state statistician says heavy showers have kept many Indiana farmers out of the field.
The winter wheat crop has emerged and 69 percent is rated good to excellent condition with some reports of light damage due to winter conditions.
93 percent of the topsoil and 91 percent of subsoil moisture are reported as adequate to surplus.
