The USDA reports corn export inspections for the week ending March 30th, 2017 were more than what’s needed to meet projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 559,646 tons, up 13,960 from the week ending March 23rd and 231,765 higher than the week ending March 31st, 2016. For the 2016/17 marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 21,820,721 tons, compared to 16,814,675 in 2015/16.
Corn was reported at 1,475,257 tons, 94,522 less than the previous week, but 383,352 more than this time last year.
