U.S. grain stocks at the start of March were up on the year.
The USDA says corn stocks were up 10% on the year at 8.6216 billion bushels, with on farm stocks up 13% and off farm supplies 6% year. Use from December 2016 to February 2017 was 3.77 billion bushels, up more than 350 million from the same period a year ago.
Soybean supplies were 13% higher at 1.735 billion bushels, with on farm stocks down 8% and off farm stocks up 33%.
