FMC Corporation announced this morning it is acquiring portions of DuPont’s Crop Protection business.
DuPont is required to divest segments of its business in order to comply with the European Commission ruling related to its merger with Dow.
Pierre Brondeau president and CEO of FMC says the acquisition is a significant step forward for FMC and its agricultural solutions business. “The portfolio of products we are acquiring is world class in its technology and margin profile,” he says.
