Kansas ranchers affected by wildfires have been getting needed help from many parts of the U.S. Much of the assistance is hay coming on flatbed trucks that have made some long hauls. Central Kansas farmer Doug Keesling is not directly affected, although others in his county are. He makes a point of observing where hay trucks come from.
“I’ve seen a lot from Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota,” said Keesling, during an interview Thursday with Brownfield Ag News.
