Two West Michigan dairy processors are partnering in wastewater infrastructure improvements and investing more than $173 million in facilities.
Continental Dairy Facilities and Fairlife have been awarded a $2.4 million grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation for the project. The city of Coopersville will invest more than $1 million in the $3.7 million upgrades.
The project will include a wastewater pretreatment system and larger pumps for the Coopersville wastewater facility which is currently at capacity.
