The Agricultural Utilization Research Institute’s (AURI) inaugural New Uses Innovation Forum brings together experts and entrepreneurs specializing in the development of value-added opportunities for Minnesota-grown crops and ag processing byproducts.
AURI executive director Shannon Schlecht says he hopes the event will build connectivity and raise awareness.
“Commodity organizations, universities, entrepreneurs, (and) agribusinesses…everybody that’s having these ideas and (working to find out) how we can work together to get more of these ideas into the commercial market.”
He tells Brownfield several Minnesota-based agribusinesses will showcase their products.
