U.S. ethanol production has now averaged more than a million barrels a day for 21 consecutive weeks.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says last week’s production declined slightly, down 1,000 barrels a day from the previous week at 1.044 million barrels. Domestic demand is solid and there’s plenty of corn available for processing.
Stocks declined for the third week in a row, from 22.766 million barrels to 22.595 million.
