A dairy farm manager says making good employees a part of the farm’s future helps retain those workers. Andrea Brossard co-manages Brossard Dairy Farm near Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. “One employer talked about how when they sit down with them at the review, they not only set their own personal goals but they also come up with ideas for goals for the farm operation and where they see the farm going as a whole, which I think is an awesome idea because it gives them some stake in the operation.”
Brossard talked about employee retention on a panel at the Wisconsin Ag Women’s Summit.
