The USDA reports corn and soybean export inspections for the week ending March 16th were more than what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 624,334 tons, up 80,168 from the week ending March 9th and 154,135 higher than the week ending March 17th, 2016. For the 2016/17 marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 20,684,534 tons, compared to 16,135,009 in 2015/16.
Corn was reported at 1,333,064 tons, a decrease of 232,557 from the prior week, but an increase of 319,030 from this time last year.
