Donations of all kinds are flooding in to help those impacted by the wildfires in the Great Plains.
Central Indiana farmer John Canary is one of several Indiana farmers making the 1,600 mile trek to deliver hay to Ashland, Kansas.
He tells Brownfield as a farmer he can’t fathom what some of these families are going through – and said he needed to do something. “There’s no guarantee that next week or tomorrow or down the road – that we may be the ones that are in the same position,” he says.
