Soft landing for those who planned ahead

The CEO of a farm credit organization says the ag economy softened slowly enough for many farmers to adjust.

Rod Hebrink is the CEO of AgStar, a member-owned farm credit cooperative based in Minnesota.

He tells Brownfield agriculture is a volatile business, and planning for bad times when prices are good is essential.
