U.S. Ag Secretary-nominee Sonny Perdue has confirmed he will relinquish ties with his business interests in order to become a member of Trump’s cabinet.
As part of his ethics agreement with the Office of Government Ethics, Perdue promised to avoid any conflicts of interest. The former Georgia governor says he will remove himself from industry trade groups and transfer any voting stock into a trust he and his wife would not benefit from.
