Minnesota farm groups are rallying around those effected by wildfires in the southern U.S.
Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association executive director Ashley Kohls says the organization is partnering with Prairie Creek Seed to help fulfill a need for cover crop and forage seed.
“Something we’re hearing specifically out of Colorado and Kansas is that the fields where they’ve had wheat or other forages planted that have been damaged by fire, are now also being impacted by high winds.
